So todays "prompt" is All About Me. I touched upon this in my very first blog post but let's delve a little deeper!
My name is Stacy and I'm 26 years old. I met my husband when I was 16 at a dance class I used to go to with my auntie. Within a few months, we took part in our first competition and a few months after that we became a couple!
Fast forward 6 years and we tied the knot and had our reception at the dance venue where we first met! There was nothing more perfect than that venue for us and I loved every second of our magical day.
Our beautiful daughter arrived before our 1 year anniversary and brought a new level of happiness I didn't even know was possible with her. For a wonderful 22 months she was my entire world and then my world was expanding to include my handsome little prince. We moved house while I was pregnant with Samuel and to say it was stressful is an understatement! I could only move one box at a time and then need a rest, which of course I never got because I had Sophie to look after! She pretty much stopped napping at 18 months so there was no extra day time naps for me!
Mom guilt is a daily occurrence and a doubled edged sword. I have Mom guilt that Sophie isn't getting my undivided attention anymore and I can't give her the same level of quality time that she used to have and then I also have Mom guilt that Samuel will never have my undivided attention or the high quality one on one time that Sophie had for a whole 22 months.
Then, of course I had the brilliant idea that now was the right time for us to finally get a puppy. Again, crazy and stupid are the two words that spring to mind! And speaking of springing, of all the dogs we decided to go for, we went for the totally nutty, crazy, hyperactive springer spaniel! Who wants an easy life, anyway?! Two small children and a puppy, nothing can possibly go wrong! Right?!
Head on over to Mandi's blog to check out hers and all the other participants on Blogtober! You never know, you might just find a new favourite blog!
It's good to read about you and I look forward to reading your posts and sharing mine with everyone
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Blogtober! Don't panic I am totally disorganised so you are in good company! So romantic that you met at dance classes, all of mine were full of old ladies! I moved house two weeks before my first daughter arrived, and wouldn't recommend it! We decided to get a puppy last November, it was probably the worst (and best) decision I have made, but we wouldn't be without her! Looking forward to finding out more about you and your lovely family during October
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Blogtober! You can do it!

ReplyDeleteYou sound as bonkers as me! We've got 2 kids (12 months apart), and now we've got 2 boxer pups (12 weeks apart). If I wasn't frazzled, I'd be bored. That's my daily mantra haha!
